Street Photography 101

Longer, personal sessions · Flexible timing · Zoom review included

This is street photography built entirely around you, not a fixed class time, not a group of strangers, not a one-size-fits-all route through the city.

Whether you want to finally understand your camera, build the confidence to shoot strangers, or explore a specific kind of light (golden hour, blue hour, or after dark), we design the session around what you actually want to work on.

We'll start with a short conversation about where you are and what you want out of it: total beginner, or already shooting but stuck in a rut. From there we shoot together for an extended session (longer than a standard workshop), working through composition, light, timing, and the confidence to approach candid moments with respect.

Because it's just the two of us, the pace is entirely yours: we can slow down on the technical side, or push further into the creative choices that make a frame feel like yours.

Afterward, we move to a dedicated Zoom call to go through your images together, frame by frame. This is where the real learning happens, not just what worked, but why, and what to look for next time.

What you'll explore

A young girl with red hair, wearing a blue and white striped dress, sitting on asphalt, blowing bubbles with a bubble wand. She has glitter on her face and a headband decorated with pastel-colored butterflies. Around her, there are adults standing in line, wearing casual clothing and shoes.

Fully personal

One-on-one (or if you would like to bring a friend, you are welcome), shaped around your specific goals.

Flexible timing

Including night photography, early morning light, or whatever suits your schedule and the effect you're after. We can shoot somewhere that means something to you, not just a fixed meeting point.

In-depth image review

A full Zoom session dedicated to your shots, not a quick debrief at the end of a group walk.

A person with dreadlocks wearing sunglasses, a beige coat, and headphones is sitting at an outdoor table, looking at their phone. There is a water bottle and a brown purse on the table, and the person appears to be in a contemplative mood.

What you'll get

An extended, fully personalised street photography session, plus a dedicated Zoom call reviewing your images and feedback on how to keep developing.
