most people know me as Giulia Hepburn. (Giulia, with the G, like Liza with the Z. It's pronounced "Julia”).

For over 14 years I've worked as a professional photographer and director, mostly behind fashion campaigns, e-commerce, and fragrance films. It's work I love doing, but I have also another force leading me into photography.

Stories is the other half: the part that has nothing to do with clients, briefs, or deadlines. It's street and travel photography, made the way I first fell for the medium: walking, watching, and shooting. No fancy flash, no posing, just whatever a street, a stranger, or a city decides to give me in that second. An ongoing conversation with curiosity, with feeling, with whatever I happen to be walking through.

This space is where that work lives: the frames, the trips, the thoughts behind the lens.

It's also where I teach. I run street photography workshops, in person and (soon) online, for anyone who wants to get past shooting on auto-pilot and start actually seeing what's in front of them. No jargon, no gatekeeping, just what I've picked up over a decade and a half of testing multiple cameras, techniques, trials and mistakes.
